Green. Verrucose.
Blackish with conspicuous, curved slender aristae, 1.5-2 mm.
Bright green -upper. Paler and nitid -lower. Apex acute and mucronate. Cuneate base. Margin entire.
Broadly cylindric-campanulate, 4-5 mm. White or pale pink-tinged. Coëtaneous. May-June.
Bright frosty blue to dark blue. Pleasantly acid to sweet. July-August.
2 to 5 dm. Colonial.

Blueberries are native plants which provide quite high value pollinator support, especially for Bumblebees early in the season. The preservation of this genus is critical to the conservation of Biodiversity and the reversal of the process of extinction
